Delete your DrSentio account
You can ask us to delete your DrSentio account and the personal data associated with it at any time. You do not have to give a reason.
How to request deletion
Option 1 — In the app (fastest)
- Open DrSentio and sign in.
- Go to the Profile tab, then tap Settings.
- Scroll to Delete my account at the bottom of the page.
- Tap it and confirm. You will see an on-screen confirmation that your request has been received.
Option 2 — Using the form below
If you cannot sign in, fill in the form at the bottom of this page using the email address on your account.
Option 3 — By email
Email privacy@drsentio.com from the address registered to your account, with the subject line “Delete my account”.
What happens next
- We acknowledge every request within 72 hours.
- We may ask you to confirm your identity from your registered email address, so that nobody can delete your account on your behalf.
- Deletion is completed within 30 days of the verified request.
- We email you once it is done.
What is deleted
All of the following are permanently deleted and cannot be recovered:
- Account details — your name, preferred name, email address, date of birth, phone number, language and timezone
- AI companion conversations — every message you exchanged with the AI, and any conversation summaries
- Messages with psychologists — your side of every conversation thread
- Journal entries — including any AI reflections you asked for
- Mood check-ins and their history
- Check-in questionnaire answers (PHQ-9, GAD-7 and similar)
- Appointment details you wrote, such as the reason you gave when booking. The booking itself remains only as an anonymised financial record — see the table below.
- Uploaded files, such as a profile photo
- Push notification tokens and device records, so your devices stop receiving notifications
- Your sign-in credentials, so the account can no longer be used
Video and audio sessions are never recorded or stored by DrSentio, so there is nothing of that kind to delete.
What we keep, and for how long
A small amount of information must be retained after deletion because Indian law requires it, or because it protects someone's safety. Wherever possible it is stored without anything that identifies you.
| What we keep | Why | How long |
|---|---|---|
| Payment, invoice and session-booking records — amount, date and order reference, detached from your name and account. Never card details. | Required by Indian tax and company law | Up to 8 years, then deleted |
| Safety escalation records, if our safety system ever flagged a risk to your life | Legal and clinical duty-of-care obligations | Up to 12 months, then deleted |
| Audit records of administrative actions (contains identifiers only — never the content of your conversations or journal) | Security and accountability | Up to 8 years |
| Anonymous, aggregated usage statistics that can no longer be linked to you | Understanding how the service is used | Indefinitely, in anonymous form |
Your psychologist's own private clinical notes are their professional record, kept under their own professional obligations rather than by DrSentio. If you want those removed, contact your psychologist directly.
Deleting some data without deleting your account
You do not have to delete everything. Inside the app you can delete individual journal entries and mood check-ins at any time, and you can revoke a psychologist's access to your AI conversations from Settings. If you would like a specific category erased while keeping your account, email privacy@drsentio.com.
Subscriptions
Deleting your account does not automatically refund an active subscription. Please read the Refund & Cancellation Policy, or email support@drsentio.com before you delete if you would like to request a refund.
Request deletion
We will email you to confirm before anything is deleted. Submitting this form does not immediately delete your account.
